The focus was to make the design beautiful to reflect the nature of the projects, which are creative with huge visual interest and appeal. We also prioritised a quality user experience that allowed easy exploration on the projects, places, people and collaboration within the areas.
We used a sophisticated mapping location software to allow users to easily explore countries within Latin America and the different projects and creative contexts that exist there. They can search a specific creative project or explore an area, then dig around easily. The user experience provides satisfying results as the platform delivers a snappy search and all the images and related content render quickly.
The project was lead by New Zealand universities with a tight budget, Haunt managed the scope and delivered on all aspects, on time.
As testament to the project's success, the website is widely used throughout New Zealand to highlight the importance, connections and subsequent economic growth between the community, creative sectors of both New Zealand and Latin America.
